Video technique
Video equipment:
Two SONY Alpha 7S III, two Sony Alpha FX3 and three Sony Alpha 7 III DSLM cameras with interchangeable lenses from Sony, Tamron, Sigma and Laowa are available for shooting in multi-perspective. All cameras deliver broadcast-ready image quality in full high-definition resolution or 4K. A DJI Ronin-S, a DJI Ronin-RS2 and a DJI Ronin-M gimbal as well as a shoulder rig and a flow line are available as stabilization systems for dynamic moving images. In addition, two DJI Mavic II drones with a professional Hasselblad camera module can be used if required.
Livestreaming:
We use modern streaming technology for live broadcasts. The live production mixers ATEM Mini Pro Extreme ISO and ATEM Television Studio HD as well as two Web Presenter HD from Blackmagic Design are used, enabling the simultaneous live use of up to 8 cameras. The stream in high-definition resolution can be used directly with any webcam-compatible software or a corresponding online service. Alternatively, the stream can be supplemented via the professional streaming software Wirecast with additional information such as inserts, screen shares or connections from video conferencing programs and then transferred to the customer’s desired platform. The latest Apple computers are used for Wirecast applications.
Digital recorders from Atomos and separate computers are available for recording the live streaming of the highest quality.
The client selects and provides the broadcasting platform and is therefore responsible for the available bandwidth.
rbt:tv accepts no responsibility for possible bandwidth problems from the moment the video signal is transferred to the broadcasting application selected by the customer. The client is solely responsible for the compatibility of the hardware and the streaming platform.
rbt:tv reserves the right to reject streaming orders if the network environment provided by the customer does not meet the following requirements:
- Connection to the network with Ethernet cable (at least 1 Gbit/s) (no WLAN)
- Internet connection via DSL or cable network with a minimum upstream of 50 Mbit/s and a downstream of at least 150 Mbit/s (no connections via LTE or other mobile phone solutions)
Sound equipment:
The sound is recorded wirelessly on digital multi-track recorders from Zoom using up to eight wireless links with lavalier microphones from Sennheiser. Two shotgun microphones from Røde including a microphone boom and windscreen for outdoor recordings are also available. A wireless in-ear monitoring solution from LD-Systems is available to transmit the sound of live streams to people present on site without interference.
Editing:
The video and audio material are edited on current Apple MacBook Pro models using Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects and various professional plug-ins for video and audio editing.
Format:
The produced video is provided in digital form. This is a MOV file with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (frame width x frame height) and a frame rate of either 24, 25 or 50 frames per second. The contractor can optionally provide a 4K or MP4 file. The sound is two-channel (stereo) with a sampling rate of 48 kHz.
Data/Data storage:
Upon final delivery of the Agency’s work results, the Client shall acquire all transferable rights to use the service provided without restriction in terms of time, space and content, provided that payment has been made in accordance with the contract. This shall apply insofar as this does not conflict with the rights of third parties.
If the video contains a professionally recorded voice over, the rights to use the voice over are automatically limited to 12 months and must be extended accordingly. Videos without a professionally recorded voice over are available to the client without restriction.
As a matter of principle, the contractor shall not hand over any raw data created during the project. This applies equally to audio and video data. As agreed, the client shall therefore receive the final product described in this agreement. The client undertakes not to independently change, edit or modify the final product created by the contractor. Furthermore, the client is not permitted to grant third parties’ permission to change the video unless the contractor has given its express written consent. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) or comparable technologies to change or modify the video is also not permitted.
Any changes or modifications to the end product that have not been authorized by the Contractor may constitute copyright infringements. In particular, the client is prohibited from using passages or parts of the video to create or modify other products. Any desired changes to the end product require the Contractor’s prior written consent. Any exceptions to this rule can only be made by separate written agreements between the parties.
